Enhancing Your Order Forms with Autocomplete Address Feature

Enhancing Your Order Forms with Autocomplete Address Feature

January 30, 20253 min read

I'm excited to walk you through a step-by-step guide on how to create an autocomplete address section on your order and opt-in forms. This small but powerful feature can transform the way your leads interact with your website, making it easier for them to enter their addresses accurately and effortlessly.

Why Use Autocomplete Address?

If you have ever been in a hurry while filling out a form, you know how easy it is to mistype your address. By implementing an autocomplete address feature, you not only save your leads time but also ensure the accuracy of the address data. Let's dive into how you can integrate this feature.

Setting Up Autocomplete on Your Order Form

To begin, go to your order form or opt-in form on your website. Whether it's on a webpage or a funnel page, the process is straightforward. Click the button to open up a pop-up, and then edit the form.

  1. Navigate to Advanced Settings: Scroll up to the advanced section where you'll find the 'shipping' option. Here, you should see the 'Autocomplete Address' toggle. Switch it on to enable the feature.

  2. Turn on Autocomplete: If you don't initially see this option, don't worry! I'll show you how to activate it for your sub-account and your clients' accounts too.

Now, once you've enabled this feature, your form will automatically offer address suggestions as the lead types in their address.

Creating a New Form with Autocomplete

Suppose you'd like to build a new form instead. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Add the Address Field: Start by adding the address field to your form. You can pull this from the right-hand side and integrate it into your design.

  2. Enable Autocomplete: Once the address field is added, ensure the 'Autocomplete Address' function is turned on to replicate the feature across all your forms.

Rebilling and Pricing Configuration

In addition to the setup, it's crucial to understand the rebilling aspects of this feature. I've included an article from the High Level Knowledge Base that explains the pricing structure because this is a rebilling feature added to sub-accounts. It's available across various plans, so make sure to check it out.

  1. Update Your Pricing: If you're on the High Level 497 plan and have access to the SaaS configurator, you can adjust the rebilling section for autocomplete addresses according to your pricing structure.

  2. Mark Up for Profit: Typically, I recommend marking up features by two to three times to cover processing fees and taxes. You're charged a base rate per search result, and you can decide how much your clients pay.

  3. Adjust for New and Existing Customers: Whether you're updating plans for new clients or existing customers, make sure every account has the settings tailored to their needs.
